Ever since I got on a board with a kite in my hands; I've been hooked.
Travelling for great wind and waves has been my mission for the last 7 years- an endless search for stoke.
The earliest memory of kitesurfing was at the age of 3, when my whole family went down to the Merimbula Classic to watch my Dad participate in the 4 day event.
Obviously, I was only 3 and don't remember much. But over the years I was infactuated with watching my Dad on the water. In 2013, I finally cracked my Mum & Dad and they gave in to letting me have a go.
From the moment I stepped on a board, I never looked back. My competitive nature was nagging, so I started competing at local, state & nationwide annual events.
The tipping point came in 2017 when I took out National Championship & the Open Women's Classic. I had the opportunity to take the next step- which led me to start my World Tour Dream.
After gaining a wildcard entry into the last World Tour event of 2018 in Torquay, Victoria, I knew I wanted to pursue the World Tour full time.
My rookie season in 2019 saw me compete in 4/6 events- making the podium in Sylt, Germany & Dakhla, Morocco.
My final ranking for the 2019 season was 5th.
Hungrier than ever I started training for the 2020 season with high standards and big goals set.
The first event of the year in Sal, Cape Verde was a rollercoaster, nevertheless. With some tough times and a lot of grit, I pulled off 2nd place in a close final against local Ines Correia.
My best result to date.
Kitesurfing is my deepest passion.
My hunger for competition pushes me to go bigger, deeper and harder.
Kitesurfing is the greatest pleasure in my life so far, it's taken me to the ends of the Earth in search for perfection.
Kitesurfing is in my veins.
